Brief
A family house for long summers, built on a dry slope of olive terraces that the owners wanted to keep exactly as they found them.
Section
The house follows the existing terrace walls. Each level shades the one below, and the roofs become gardens planted with the same wild thyme and rosemary that grew there before.
“The terraces were already a building. We only added rooms.”
Material
Lime render with marble dust for brightness, local marès stone and steel window frames painted in a single warm grey.
